LOW-Pulse Three-Lobe Positive Displacement Blower
Based in Spain, Pedro Gil manufactures advanced "positive displacement rotary-type" blowers in its EU-standard facilities. Pedro Gil blowers feature a patented "LOW-Pulse" three-lobe rotor design that minimizes pressure pulsations.

Working Principle
The blower is of the positive displacement type and consists of two three-lobe rotors. The lobe connected to the blower shaft transmits the motion received from the motor to the other lobe in the opposite direction through a timing drive gear; the lobes separate from one another and create a vacuum. This vacuum draws a certain amount of air into the blower. The air drawn in moves between the lobes toward the discharge port. At the discharge port the lobes mesh, building pressure and forcing the air out. With each revolution of the shaft, the blower transfers a volume of air equal to its displacement.
Base Frame Technical Features
- The base frame uses a delta system, and the belt-pulley tensioning system is built for efficient and convenient maintenance and operation
- The material thickness used is sufficient to carry and stabilize the static and dynamic loads of the packaged blower
- The motor plate is built to accommodate motors in 4 different sizes
- The lower base frame of the blower also acts as a pressure silencer, with internal air-breaking systems that prevent air polarization
- LMC 1445 70 Shore Las-par vibration mounts are used to damp frame vibration
- A specially designed silicone check valve system is used at the outlet
- The intake silencer is insulated with 6 cm FR-grade flame-retardant foam
- The air filter is made with a cartridge fiber element and is resistant to air-entrainment erosion
- The entire base frame has provision for an Airmat outlet system matching the outlet connection diameter
- The safety valve is built to be long-lasting and adjustable
- A metal compensator is used on the air outlet according to its DN
Sound Insulation Enclosure
- Reduces noise level by approximately 15-20 dB
- Galvanized sheet steel outer shell; interior lined with high sound-absorbing, certified non-combustible foam
- Integrated air fan to remove hot air from inside the enclosure; pressure – vacuum – running hours indicators
- Fully enclosed design. Enclosure can be moved with a forklift
- Specially designed so the oil level can be observed without opening the enclosure
