External Gear Pumps
Module gear pumps are self-priming positive displacement pumps with very strong suction capability.
- High Durability
- Easy Maintenance
- Long Service Life
Product Overview
Precise Transfer at High Pressure
Module gear pumps are self-priming positive displacement pumps with very strong suction capability. Thanks to adjustable operating clearances, they are used to transfer low, medium and high viscosity fluids under high pressure.
- Compact design requires fewer parts and takes up less space
- Can run in either direction with a suitable shaft seal
- Helical and spur gear options provide application variety
- 11 different casing lengths
- Can operate over a very wide viscosity range
- Reliable design with only 2 rotating parts
- Self-priming up to 720 mbar
- High accuracy in dosing applications
- Heating/cooling jacketed versions maintain the temperature of the transferred fluid
- Pump clearances can be easily adjusted to suit the fluid
- All shaft seal types can be applied for shaft sealing
- Inlet and outlet connections available at 180° only

Operating Principle
Module gear pumps transfer the fluid through the interaction of two moving gears with each other and with the pump casing:
- The moving gears create a large volume at the pump suction port, and the liquid enters through the suction port
- The liquid entering the suction port travels between the pump gears and the pump casing
- The pressure generated by the moving gears discharges the liquid travelling inside the casing
