Special Constructions: TCD/SP

The TCD/SP pump series is specially designed to handle vegetable oils.

The design differs from the standard TCD series only in the mechanical seal area; an intermediate cover is added beyond the mechanical seal. This intermediate cover must be connected to an oil reservoir compatible with the pumped fluid. In the event of mechanical seal failure, this device prevents air from entering the pump and irreparably oxidizing the pumped oil, and prevents bearing oil from entering the pumping circuit or vice versa.
